We've been wanting to try some family pictures for a while now, but have been waiting for some nice fall colors. We got to do about half of what we had planned today before the kids fizzled out, and Brenley wasn't her usual smiley self. The nice thing about my mom taking the pictures is we can try again next week!

Pumpkinfest!
We went to Pumpkinfest outside New Ulm on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. We didn't buy any pumpkins since we have now picked 85 and still counting at home, but Brody did buy a bag of gourds (10 for a dollar). Brenley would have hung out in the pumpkin all day, but she had to share. Brody liked the petting zoo and a train-like wagon ride around the farm.

Fish Fry
We went to Taid's for lunch today and enjoyed 24 walleye that we brought home from the lake in August.
Fillets frying in the pan.
Brenley loved the squash and the cheesy potatoes.
Claire eating - Brody, not so much.
Success?
Brody has been really doing well with potty training and is almost taking care of himself the last week or so. He has picked up a bad habit, though! Hoping that four months of winter will take care of this one.

Bath Time
Brenley just loves bath time. She waits by the tub while the water fills up and only tried a few times to climb in by herself. And while she is in the tub she stands up and plops back down in the water, then laughs hysterically at herself. Check out the link for a flashback of another baby who was (and still is) crazy about bath time!

Bigger Boy Bed
Brody has been enjoying some nights in Mommy and Daddy's bed and when you ask him why he doesn't want to sleep in his own bed he says its too small. So today we took apart the crib (tear) and got Brody his very own really big boy bed. He looks so tiny in there by himself, so he had to add some airplanes, blankets, and a little sister. Lets hope the bigger bed does the trick, and he spends the night in his own room. P.S. Brody has already put tractor sheets on his Christmas list;)

Harvest Time
Brody picked his first pumpkins from his pumpkin patch tonight! Grandpa and Brody planted about 50 pumpkin seeds last spring. They seemed to start slow, but then exploded to cover a huge area on the south side of our lawn. We have made daily trips to the pumpkin patch to check on the crop. We were hoping to have enough pumpkins for family and some friends. Since it now looks like we will have hundreds, we are thinking of setting up a stand for Brody to sell them at the end of the driveway!
