THE BABIES

Brenley and Paxton went on their 1st real date without their big brothers! They both enjoyed a nice meal, some tummy time and Paxton even caught a little nap. He gave Brenley a flower, winning her heart already:)

BAPTISM

Brenley Elizabeth was baptized today. She was a very good girl in church and her big brother actually behaved as well. Brenley slept through the actual baptism part of the service but woke up to celebrate with family at the hall. It was a great day and we feel truly blessed to have this beautiful baby girl.

PAPA'S PARTY

We celebrated Grandpa Jones' 85th Birthday in Cambria on Saturday. It was a fun afternoon and so many people came to help celebrate. Brody had a blast playing with cousin Hunter. Ryan pulled them behind the snowmobile, they played hide and seek and played tractors. Brenley was such a good girl at the party too.

TODDLER BED

When Brody was sick he spent a few nights o the couch and really liked it. We wanted to get him excited about his room again so we converted his crib into a toddler bed. I was worried he'd be all over the place but so far he has done a great job. He does usually end up on the floor sometime during the night- but he doesn't fall out of bed just climbs out and sleeps on the floor. Today at nap time we tried hard to get him to lay down but he wasn't having it. Figured it was a no nap day. Next thing I know he takes off for his room, shuts the door and goes to sleep! What a good boy:)

TRACTOR WASH

If anyone has a tractor that needs washing, just bring it on over!!

NEB TREATMENT

So far Brody is actually handling the neb treatments ok- for the first 5 minutes anyways! Too bad they last about ten:)

POOR BRODY

Brody woke up Monday morning pretty hoarse and with a barky cough. He had a fever of 102 later that day so we brought him to Urgent Care. It wasn't a very pleasurable experience for him or for mom and dad. We had to hold him down while they gave him medicine, checked his oxygen levels, pricked his finger and gave him a nebulizer treatment. We were sent home with some antibiotics and a liquid form of the nebulizer medicine. Today he was still pretty wheezy so I took both him and Brenley in to get checked out. She is fine- but the doctor wasn't happy with how Brody was progressing. So now in addition to the meds they put him on Monday night he is also taking steroids and they sent us home with a nebulizer machine. Lets hope he starts getting better soon. He is missing all his friends at daycare!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today is not only Valentine's Day, it is also Auntie Heidi's Birthday! Here are your birthday messages from the kids Heidi:) Brody was not cooperating holding his signs so Grandpa stuck it in his pants. Hope you like it! You will always be 29 to us;)

OUTSIDE PLAY

Brody, Grandpa and I played outside today. It was a little chilly but that didn't stop us from having fun. Grandpa built Brody a den- he liked climbing in there almost as much as he liked eating the snow. Notice his gloves in these pictures? Brody will not wear his own gloves so when he goes outside he wears mine or Ryan's. Better than nothing, I guess!

We've been trying to get a good photo of Brody and Brenley together for Taid's Christmas-New Year-now Valentine's Day card. Judging from these pictures, it might be a St. Patricks Day card! Brenley looks like she is yelling at Brody in this one!

THE EYES

Brody has a tendency to flash what we call "the eyes" when things aren't going his way. In the picture he looks cute, but when he gives you the eyes its pretty spooky!

ANOTHER FRIEND

Eliana Cariveau came over to play last night. Her daddy, Chris, and Ryan are good friends. The kids played really good together, until Eli tried to take Brody's binky! I will say Brody plays much nicer with girls. He's going to be a ladies man!

HANG ON TIGHT BABY

Brody insisted on giving Brenley a ride on the 4 wheeler so I gave in and let him for a little while. When she had enough (2nd picture!) I told him she needed a break and he was so sad he cried. So then daddy got on the 4 wheeler with him!! Why didn't I take a picture of that?
