Bayler...lately

Bayler had his one year check up this week. He was 28.75 inches (17th percentile) and weighed in at 22 lbs 8 oz (45th percentile). His head is on the large side measuring in the 95th percentile. Lots and lots of brains!

Here are a few things to catch you up on Bayler...

-has a few bottles a day. usually takes around 6 ounces. doesn't love his bottles at daycare so I am hoping it will be easy to wean him from them.
-wears size 9-12 month clothing and size 4 diapers.
-sleeps pretty great at night. down around 7:30 and I have to wake him to get ready for daycare. sleep lapsed a bit when he was sick in August and September.
-loves playing with his brother and sister and imitating what they do. but doesn't love it so much when they take away the toy he was playing with
-says ball, that, ma-ma,da-da, uh-oh and grandma says he said quack:)
-has been walking since about 9 months and mostly runs these days.
-his favorite toys at the moment are balls. any variety. he says ball about 50x a day, anything that somewhat resembles a ball, is a ball.
-is kind of a scaredy cat. loud noises, people he doesn't know, sometimes even people he does know cause him to bury is head into mom's shoulder and play the shy-guy.
- makes our lives better each day just by being around. loves to cuddle and always will give you a hug.

Happy 1st Birthday Bayler!! Its been quite the year. We are so blessed to have you.
