To top off our busy day, the kids and I went with Grandpa and Grandma J to the Blue Earth County Fair. We visited the barns, machinery hill, the rides, and the fair food. Brenley had a good time just looking at the sights.

Brody's Best Day
What could be better for a tractor nut like Brody than having a tractor parade? Today between 40 and 50 tractors were touring Blue Earth County all day and came to Cambria for lunch. Brody waved every one into town, and then spent a while looking them over. He was in heaven!

Sleepy Eye Water Park
Brody, Ryan, and I went to the Sleepy Eye Water Park when Ryan got off work today. It was the perfect time to go - the afternoon swimmers were gone and the evening swimmers were not there yet. Brody had a blast! It was fun to do something with just him. He does get a lot of alone time with one or the other of us, but not much with the three of us together. When we left he said, "Good-by pool - see you morrow."
Park Day
Brody loves to go to the park. Luckily, New Ulm has a lot of different parks and playgrounds. It's a cheap way to get out of the house for a couple of hours and be home by nap time! Today we checked out the park by the soccer fields and the playground at Grandma's school.

Fun at Flandrau
We took the kids to Flandrau for a while on Sunday. It was pretty crowded, but fun. Brenley had to have her binky in or she ate the sand - managed to rub a little in her eyes, too.

Busy Day
Brenley had her checkup at Children's Hospital yesterday. It went pretty good and she continues to do really well, however, we went expecting them to say she was 100% healthy and we didn't need to come back again. Instead, we were surprised when they wanted her to start preventative neb treatments every day and prescribed two more medications to keep on hand should she show the slightest signs of anything respiratory. We also have to go back in December. It sounds like they don't want to take any chances and I guess we don't either. After we got home, we had a Meredith family grill-out at our house, then we all went to Claire's t-ball game. The family women met after t-ball to plan for our week of vacation in August - can't wait!
Brenley liked looking out the fifth floor windows at Children's and watching the action.
This is what we were watching - yup, a crane lifting a porta-potty to the top of the sixth floor construction site. Seemed kinda funny.
Yeah, a hit!
Running for home.
She made it!

Kitties!
Brody loves the kitties over at Wint's and has been making daily trips over to visit them. He is really getting good at being gentle and is learning to not squeeze them too hard. There are a couple that even seem to like him!
He loves them so much, he doesn't care which end
he's snuggling!
We had to make a stop at the house to see Wint and Dee's new puppy. What a cutie!

Working Man 2
We went to the store for breakfast this morning and Brody went home with Grandma for a while. When Grandpa got home he got put to work washing the truck and the car. Although, when you give a 2-year old a hose, is it ever really work?
