My Very First Christmas!

I had my very first Christmas at Grandma Tammy's on Saturday, and I loved it! I got to play with my cousin Ayden. He shared his toys with me. I also got to open presents. Look at how excited I am! Mama's not sure if I was more excited about the present or about eating the paper! Papa Kevin dressed up as Rudolph and handed out presents. Every one thought it was pretty silly, but I liked it. Then they put the red nose on Chopper (Grammy Tammy's BIG dog) now that was funny. I get to go to more Christmases this week. I can't wait. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The Christmas tree is up! And I am actually not very interested in it. I am too busy getting into everything else to check the tree out. Getting into everything sure tuckers a kid out, so I had to stop for a quick nap. That last picture, is me with SANTA!! He came to Courtland! I wasn't too sure what to think of him but I hear he brings presents so I will give him a chance!

NO DAYCARE!

I got to stay home from daycare for a whole week! I did miss Shel and Brynie when they were on vacation but I enjoyed my time at home with all my babysitters. My daddy stayed home with me one day. My grandpa had me for two days and mama watched me too! I even got to spend time with Papa Jones and Taid! They were really good babysitters. I am a bit of a handful these days. Sitting still is not an option for me. I like to crawl into places where I shouldn't be. Here I am under my exersaucer. I also like to crawl under the kitchen table. I told my grandpa I needed some new shoes (can you believe I only have 1 pair?) but Grandpa, I don't think these are going to work!

BATH TIME

I am such a water baby. Bath time always makes me happy. And boy do I get crazy in the tub. I splash all over the place and get everybody wet. I like to make as many bubbles as I can. I hope Santa bring me more toys for the tub!

LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!

I have mastered the army crawl, sometimes I even go up on my hands and knees to really crawl. That means its time for a new trick. STANDING!! I like to pull myself up on everything I can. My crib, my toy box, my walker, even my dog Darby. Standing is so much fun, maybe I will even try walking soon. I also got my first tooth last week. And just to make mama happy I have been practicing my M's and said MAMA a few times over the weekend.

SLEEPY TIME

When mama came in my room to wake me up this morning, this is how she found me. She did not put me in my crib like this. I like to roll around and scoot back and forth just until I find that comfy spot. I am such a cuddler, thats way I like to be close to the edge of the crib. I would rather be cuddling with mama in her bed, but daddy doesn't like the couch:)

BIG BOY

Well, its official. I am now the big boy at daycare. My bestest buddy Hudson started daycare this week so he gets to be the baby. Since I am a big boy, I can admit I was jealous for a little bit. I wanted Shelly to hold me and carry me around. But don't worry. I got over it pretty fast and by the end of the day I was having fun playing with the big kids. I can't wait until Hudson gets bigger and he can play with the big kids too.

YES WE CAN!

I got to vote with my daddy on election day. I felt like such a grown up. I even got to wear the sticker. Daddy let me pick who I wanted to vote for. I picked Obama! Mama was so proud of me for picking a winner:)

HALLOWEEN!

Halloween was such a busy day. It was filled with putting my costume on, and then taking it off. Driving somewhere else and doing it all over again. I'm not too sure if I really like Halloween, but mama says it will get better. I did make a very cute monkey. My best friend Hudson was a pretty cute bear too. Cousin Claire was Dorthy and Everett was her lion. My favorite part might have been chewing on my Halloween card from Mary Ellen.

Cute Pictures

This is me and my Darby. She steals my toys, licks my face and tries to lay by me. Mama is always yelling "DARBY NO!" But I love Darby very much. I can't wait til I'm bigger and I can chase after her all day long.

I got tired of sitting in my carseat while Mommy shops at Target so now I get to sit in the cart. Its so much more fun that way.

Look at that cute boy in the mirror. Here we are, shopping again. But this time I found somebody to play with. I was sitting here just talking to that boy in the mirror when another little boy came along and wanted to play. But as soon as I stole his pacifier out of his mouth he took off? Maybe he didn't like that baby in the mirror?

What have I been up to?

I have been doing so much fun stuff lately its hard for mama to keep up with me (and this blog). I am growing fast and changing every day. I got my first haircut! Can you believe that I needed a hair cut before I was 6 months old. Auntie Ashley says I should share some of my hair with Hudson. Mama was sad to see my baby fuzz go, but I look like such a big boy now.

I got to go farming with Grandpa. I liked being in the combine and watching the corn go bye-bye. Grandpa even let me drive. Maybe I will be a farmer when I grow up too.

I've started snacking as well. I really like puffs, crackers and Baby Mum Mums. I am a very good sharer with my snacks as well:)

really big! Grandpa and I helped him

get all of the guts out. If I would have

known what was going to happen once

the guts were out I probably would not

have helped:)

6 month pictures

For my 6 month Birthday Mama had a lady come out to my house and take my pictures. I liked that a lot better than going to a studio. It was pretty hot out for October, and the bugs were really bad so I didn't cooperate as much as I could have. I am usually a very smiley boy- that is until someone wants me to smile! She did get some good ones. Do you like my shoes? My grandma got them for me- before you know it I will be walking all over the place!

Mama thought this one was cute, even

though my fingers are in my mouth- I am always chewing on something.

Maybe my teeth will come soon.

FRIENDS!

I have so many friends to play with. Thats Brogan. She is 4 months older than I am. We already like to cuddle. She is so cute-I think I will take her to prom.

And thats Hudson. He's my bestest friend. He is alomst three months younger than me. Hudson is going to come play with me at Shelly's every day pretty soon. I can't wait. He is going to really like it there.

There's Dirk. Dirk was born 3 weeks after me. He's bigger than me, but thats ok. He can be my bodyguard when we go to school. Look, he is already taking care of me!


This is my cousin Everett. He is 2 months younger than me. We are going to have so much fun growing up together. I bet his sissy Claire thinks she's the boss of us. Just wait we'll show her.



I have a few more friends too! There's Connor who was born a day after me. And Sidney- she is one cute girl. Don't forget about Elly. My daddy and her daddy are good friends, and I'm sure we will be too!

Catch Up

Here are a few pictures to catch you up on what I have been up to this summer. The first picture is my first swim! In August we went up north to Becker's Resort. I loved the pool. The next picture is me in my new bathtub! I like bathtime so much I get to take a bath every night. I did my best to make this picture appropriate for the internet:) And the last picture is me with grandpa on daddy's new toy. Daddy is pretty lucky- I want a big boy toy too. Mama tells me Christmas is coming!

My mama finally caved and let me be on the internet like my best friend Hudson! She likes to look at Hudson's blog when she is at work (especially cause she can't get on any fun sites!) so she thought she might as well put my picture on the internet too.
