FUN AT THE PARK

Brody, Grandma and I took a picnic lunch (McDonalds) to the park today. Brody had a lot of fun playing on the equipment but he is at the age where he wants to do everything all by himself- even when its better for Mommy to help.

WAGON RIDE

Brody wanted to go for a wagon ride the other night and after pulling him up and down the drive way a few times I got tired, but he still wanted Mama to come with so it was Dada's turn to pull!

BACK TO WORK

I started back at school this week (hence the lack of blogs). Shelly is on vacation so Brody spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Grammy Tammy- and tomorrow my mom will watch him then next week its back to Shell's full time. It was hard going back- but I do have Fridays off again so I am looking forward to spending some quality time with Brody before baby gets here. Just some cute pictures of Brody in the bath tonight- Hudson showed us his cool blue bath water and with mama feeling guilty about going back to work- Brody got some new bath toys! Color tablets (we tried to make purple) and bath markers!

DARBY

I don't know who was most excited to see Darby when we got home Brody or Ryan (it certainly wasn't me). Brody's been playing some new games with Darby including tug-0f-war and trying to ride Darby. The dog acts like she doesn't always enjoy it but she keeps coming back for more.

NAP TIME

After sleeping in a pack and play all week on vacation Brody was ready to take a real nap some place comfy!

MORE BECKERS

Here are some more pictures from Beckers. Brody enjoyed the fishing contest for about 7 minutes-but it does look like he spotted a few fish, if only Grandpa and Daddy could have caught them. Here is the Under 40 generation. There was quite a few of us this year. Hope it continues to be that way!

FAIR

We hit up the Brown County Fair today and of course my child's favorite part was the tractors and animals. I really do have a country boy!

BECKERS

We survived a week at the lake! Vacation with a 16 month old doesn't feel like much of a vacation but we had a ton of fun nonetheless! Brody loved every minute of it. He got to play with Claire, Everett, Taylor and Emily every day and spend lots of time with Uncle Nate and Auntie Heidi. He even managed to squeeze in some time for Grandpa while we were there;) Being the great photographer I am, I got my camera out of my bag on Thursday so I am lacking in the picture department but hopefully my mom and Mary Ellen will send me some so I can add a few more. Some highlights of the week for Brody included: swimming- we finally got a warm week up north and we were in the pool nearly every day, boat rides- Brody loved fishing with Uncle Nate, and every time he casted his pole he caught the same orange plastic fish, playing with Everett- playing, wrestling its all the same to toddlers right! It was a great week but I think we were more tired when we got home! Can't imagine what it will be like next year with 2 kids!!

NEW HOUSE

I got a new chair for the living room- and Brody got a new house to play in! Grandma and Grandpa helped Brody settle in by giving him some windows and nice scenery. Brody enjoyed his house so much he thought he would take a nap in it!

We are off to Lake Winnie for the week- I'm sure there will be a lot to post when we get home!

BIG TRACTOR

Brody really liked playing in the big tractor at the fair. He even thought there was enough room to take a nap!

FUN AT THE FAIR

We went to the Blue Earth County Fair on Saturday afternoon. Grandma and Grandpa came with, and we met Taid and Edyth over in Garden City. Brody loved seeing the animals and tractors, eating fair food, and going on rides all by himself!
