CEREAL

 

We've tried cereal a few times with Brenley, and she just isn't crazy about it. Tonight we added a little applesauce. She is getting better- but it is still a messy job!

BRENLEY'S NEW TOY

Brenley loves loves loves her jumperoo. So much that I start to feel a little guilty for all the time she spends in it. Grandma got her this new excersaucer and I think she's going to love that too. The problem is her feet don't quite touch rhe ground yet!

SCHELLS

We went to the brewery to see the peacocks on Saturday. I tried to get some pictures of Brody but the top picture shows why I didn't get many good ones! The kid doesn't stop moving. I made sure to get a picture of Brenley just to prove she was with us.

3 years ago today, this family of four was getting its start as a family of two! I remember less and less details as the years go by but I do know it was a fabulous day!

PARK

We've really been enjoying this weather! Ryan has been working late quite a bit so today we stayed in town to play at the park.

FIRST ZOO TRIP

We took our first (of many, I am sure) trip to the MN Zoo today. Brody is going to be such a fun age for the animals this summer. He has fun with Claire and EJ- and Uncle Nate and Aunt Heidi! The baby farm animals were a hit, but it was awfully busy there so we spent some time at other areas. The bears were a hit! 

Once again, Brenley was there but not any pictures. She rode the tractor with Mary Ellen and sucked on Laurie's arm so hard she gave her a hickey! Can't believe we didn't get a picture of that:)

EASTER-PART TWO

We celebrated Easter at Ryan's mom's on Saturday. Brody had fun playing with his cousins, especially at the neighbors house. We also walked to a park to play.

Just Bren

Grandma here. I am trying to get serious about taking pictures with my new camera. Brenley sits still and models for me better than Brody! I am really working on focus right now. Next step - Photoshop!

Jumperoo??

Brenley loves jumping in the jumperoo. She needs a pillow or blanket underneath because her feet don't touch the floor. She jumps like crazy for twenty minutes or so....then this!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE...

a year (or two) makes. Happy 2nd Birthday, Brody!

2 YEAR STATS

Brody had his 2 yr check up today. He is 34 inches (40th percentile) and 28 lbs (51st percentile). Hard to believe my baby will be 2 tomorrow.

4 MONTH STATS

I swear Brenley was at all of our family events over the weekend we just didn't get many pictures of her. She had her well baby check today. She was 23 1/4 inches long (16th percentile) and 12 lbs 12 ounces (32nd percentile). We got the go ahead to try some rice cereal! I will post some pictures of that!

EASTER

Brody had a fun Easter. He played with his cousins and got lots of nice gifts. He liked hitting the pinata and hunting for eggs as well!

EGG HUNT/LAMB FEEDING

Brody was invited to an egg hunt and lamb feeding at Brenda's on Easter morning. He should be on a first name basis with those sheep as often as he stops to see them. He liked giving the lamb a bottle but didn't do the greatest at the egg hunt. He was being too careful, trying not to step in poop!

Just curious how long it takes you to upload your pictures? It is painfully slow for me to do it, wondering if its my internet connection, my computer or just blogspot? Leave me a comment and let me know how long it takes for your pictures to upload. Thanks:)

FAMILY PARTY

We had family over Saturday night to celebrate Brody's Birthday.  He once again had a great time and received some awesome presents! By far his favorite is his battery operated tractor from Grandma and Grandpa. It been very difficult getting him off of it!

Brody had a great time at his pool party with his friends! The kids had a blast swimming and Brody got some great gifts. I am uploading more pool party pictures to the shutterfly site, but it takes forever!

LOOK WHAT I FOUND!

While Brody was at my parent's house on Friday he found this John Deere Gator in the garage. They were planning on saving this present for awhile but when he saw it there was no way they couldn't let him ride it.

EGGS

Brody dyed Easter eggs at my parents on Friday while Ryan and I cleaned the house.
