SUNDAY FUNDAY

I had a really fun Sunday. It started out with breakfast at Perkins- and then after my nap we went to Mankato with grandpa and grandma. I got to ride on the horse's at the mall and on the way home I enjoyed a nice snack:)

Dirk's Birthday Party

We went to Dirk's Birthday Party on Friday night, and I guess all 1 year olds get to have crazy parties because his was pretty wild too! There were so many kids to play with, and lots of presents to look at. I wanted to be outside by the puppies, but it got too cold towards the end of the night.

MY 4 WHEELER

I am getting really good at driving my 4 wheeler. And with the nice weather we had last week, I practiced a lot!

I LOVE TO...

vacuum! I was in the bath tub, and grandma was watching me when I heard the vacuum fire up. How dare they try to vacuum with out me! Out of the tub I climbed, got my jammies on in lightening speed, just so I could help daddy vacuum!

Swimming...WITH DADDY!

We had swimming lessons again on Saturday. I was so excited cause we didn't have it last week (refer to scary Easter bunny pic). This week was extra special because Daddy came in the pool with me. He was a little nervous because he didn't know the words to the songs we sing- but I think he did a great job. And he let me go down the slide twice!

SANDBOX

It was so nice on Friday, daddy filled my sandbox up. I really liked playing with the sand- and I surprised everyone by not eating it! I did try to shovel some of the sand out of my sand box, so we may need a refill before the end of the summer.

Easter in Gaylord

Mama tells me Easter in Gaylord has been a tradition for quite some time. I'm glad I got to spend my first Easter there. The day was filled with great food, and lots of fun. I did another egg hunt. I did good, but next year mom says I have to be faster. Hope everyone had a great Easter, I know I did.

Easter Morning

I woke up Easter Morning to discover that, that awful Easter Bunny left me some pretty good treats. I got a new barn, some bigger sippys and my very own fork and spoon. Maybe I will give the Easter Bunny another chance next year.

My thoughts on the Easter Bunny

We went to the rec center on Saturday (not for swimming this time) and the Eater Bunny was there. I was not hoppy to see it.

I did get to hunt for eggs which was much more fun. I think I did a good job, but mama said this was just practice for the egg hunt on Sunday!

Fun Being One!

Here are some pictures of me in my wagon with my cousins. First all three of us were in there (and Darby wanted in too) but once it was just me and EJ we were a little more comfortable and could enjoy the ride.

I got this swing for my Birthday. I was not thrilled with it- but now it hangs in the tree outside and I LOVE IT!

When you turn one, lots of fun stuff happens. I now get to face forward in my car seat. I love being able to see out the window better and watch all the stuff that goes by. I also like to watch what mama and daddy are doing!

One Year Stats

I went to the doctor yesterday and she said I am perfect! She told mama and daddy to keep doing what they are doing! I was 29 3/4 inches tall (51st percentile) and I weighed 23 lbs 6 oz (60th percentile). I don't have to drink formula anymore. Just milk! And pretty soon I won't even have to use a bottle. I am a big boy! I got three shots and my finger pricked. I did cry, but just a little. Daddy was pretty happy to hear that I am getting taller-I think he was worried.

PRESENTS

I got so many new presents for my Birthday. I love playing with all of them. There are a few that have to wait until summertime, but thats ok. It will be like another Birthday when the weather gets warm enough to play outside. I got a tree house from my Grandma and Grandpa Jones. I like going down the slide. I got an inside 4 wheeler from my Great Aunt Marla. Mama was thankful for that cause the inside one isn't as dangerous as my other one. I also got a fun cow tunnel from Claire and EJ. I could play with that four hours! And there's my other 4 wheeler from mama and daddy. This one drives by itself. All you have to do is push the button. I like to stand up and ride it, cause I am a big boy now. What a great Birthday I had. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Birthday Party

My Birthday Party was on Saturday and it was so much fun! It was a Yo Gabba Gabba party, cause I love that show. I had so many friends and family there. I was glad that so many people wanted to celebrate with me. All of my nice friends even helped me open my presents, which helped speed things up a bit. I got to eat Birthday cake too. It was nummy. I need another post to show you all of my new toys!
