SAFETY

We went to the vehicle fair in New Ulm on Tuesday. Our main reason for going was to get Brody a helmet. He doesn't love it, but at least we know when he tries his dare devil stunts on the 4wheeler his brain will be protected!

It's a big job...

and daddy was so happy Brody was around to help! We finally got our carpet for the basement. This room will eventually be a family room/bar/game room but for now it is a perfect toy room. Ryan and Brody did some vacuuming yesterday- and as you can see we still have some work to do, but when its done its going to look great.

Outside Fun

Brody's 4wheeler has a cup holder which he thinks is the coolest thing. Unless, that is, he is trying to get a drink of water while driving. He didn't get that he had to tip the cup back.

He even went as far as to try and stand on the 4wheeler thinking that would make things easier. That is when Ryan had to intervene. Hope everyone enjoyed the nice weather yesterday, we sure did.

AS PROMISED

I have decided to take over the blog writing for Brody- now that the weather is nice he is just too busy playing outside to bother with posting on his blog! We did go the zoo this weekend with Uncle Nate and Auntie Heidi. It was a bit chilly, but most of the animals at Como are indoors, which was nice for Brody- he could see them better. We also drove by the house that Nate and Heidi now officially OWN! Looks very nice, and Brody can't wait to come play in their big yard. The weekend was fun, sorry I didn't get any great pictures to prove it!

MY FAMILY

This might be the first picture on my blog of me, my mama and daddy! We are only missing Darby! Grandma thinks I look like mama in this picture- notice we all have trouble opening our eyes. Be sure to check back, we have a fun weekend planned.

PRETTY FLOWER?

Just sitting outside smelling a pretty flower. So I tried to take a bite of it, whats the big deal. It smelt so good- I thought it must be food!

Mother's Day!

I am so lucky-instead of Mother's Day- I had a Mother's weekend! It even went into Monday when mama stayed home with me! We had so much fun together. I got her a nice sweatshirt from Schells (dad helped pick it out, and pay for it). Our Monday together was filled with fun activities but the best part was going with Grandpa in the tractor! We were digging! And I loved it. I got to sit on Grandpa's lap and run around inside the tractor. There was even a nice little seat that was just my size. Next time, mama says she can stay home and just send me. Being a big boy if fun.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAIRE!

Cousin Claire had her 4th Birthday Party on Saturday. It was a Wizard of Oz Party, and it was so fun! I got to play with Addy, Brynie, and Kat. Thankfully EJ was there- I needed another boy to play with. Claire did get a lot of neat toys, but most of them were pink and purple. NO THANK YOU!

FAMILY TRADITION

We had a very fun Jones-Family-Get-Together on Saturday night cause Beth was home from Switzerland! I got to play ball with daddy and Papa, play ring around the rosie with my cousins, and ride in a dump truck. It was a lot of fun for the whole family to get together. I hope we can do it again sometime soon!

I'm walking the dog...

Mama says my new job for the summer can be to take Darby for walks. Mama doesn't like to do it because she says Darby walks her. But not me! I am a good dog walker. I love the doggies at daycare too!

December?

I found out I will be getting an early Christmas present around December 17th! This was my initial reaction- but I did get use to the idea pretty quickly and me, mama, and daddy are very excited!
