Thomas the Train

Today Great-aunt Mary Ellen wanted to take Brody and Everett on a Thomas the Train ride in Lakeville. The rest of us went along for fun. They had activities for the kids to do while we waited for our ride, but the highlight of the afternoon was the 20 minute train ride. Brody says "Thanks" again Aunt Mary Ellen for the fun ride and the Thomas backpack, and thanks Aunt Marla for the pez dispensor and the bubbles.

County Fair

To top off our busy day, the kids and I went with Grandpa and Grandma J to the Blue Earth County Fair. We visited the barns, machinery hill, the rides, and the fair food. Brenley had a good time just looking at the sights.

Brody's Best Day

What could be better for a tractor nut like Brody than having a tractor parade? Today between 40 and 50 tractors were touring Blue Earth County all day and came to Cambria for lunch. Brody waved every one into town, and then spent a while looking them over. He was in heaven!

Sleepy Eye Water Park

Brody, Ryan, and I went to the Sleepy Eye Water Park when Ryan got off work today. It was the perfect time to go - the afternoon swimmers were gone and the evening swimmers were not there yet. Brody had a blast! It was fun to do something with just him. He does get a lot of alone time with one or the other of us, but not much with the three of us together. When we left he said, "Good-by pool - see you morrow."

Park Day

Brody loves to go to the park. Luckily, New Ulm has a lot of different parks and playgrounds. It's a cheap way to get out of the house for a couple of hours and be home by nap time! Today we checked out the park by the soccer fields and the playground at Grandma's school.
