Monster Trucks...

Ryan took Brody to St. Peter Friday night where they had a monster truck show. They didn't get home until 11pm and Brody hasn't stopped talking about it yet! Stories of a lady on fire, 4 big trucks that jumped over cars and went in the mud! Sounds like they had a good time! He even put his "Car Cars" away for awhile to play monster trucks. Sorry for the pictures, using a cheap point and shoot while Nate and Heidi have our camera and Ryan took them:)

Seaworthy?

 

We took the Sea Monster to Loon Lake today to make sure it is ready to go to Winnie in a few weeks. Brenley wasn't to sure about it at first.

 

Brody loved every minute!

Dentist

 

Brody had his first first visit to the dentist and got an A+ on his dental report card! The dental hygienist counted (20 teeth) cleaned and flossed his teeth. She said he was the most cooperative first timer they have ever had. Then the dentist came and said his teeth look wonderful. A little close together which may cause problems when he gets his permanent teeth but for now everything looks great!

Bavarian Blast Parade

 

People have been saying that Brody is looking more and more like Ryan. Sometimes I can see it!

 

Brenley is sporting her first real ponytail. It's pretty long in the back, but a lot of the side pieces don't quite make it!

Despite the near 100 degree temperatures on Sunday, we took in the parade in New Ulm. It wasn't too bad in the shade with a little breeze, but at one point the breeze died down, and it was HOT!

Gymnastics

 

We took both of the kids to gymnastics this summer, which sometimes went OK, sometimes not so much. A class full of busy toddlers meant that most of the adults were chasing kids around a lot. Brody is doing bunny hops for warm-ups.

 

Brenley loved it all! Forward rolls.

 

The beam - Grandma took several pictures, and her tongue is out on all of them - must help her balance!

Finishing up on the tramp. Both Grandpa and Grandma were in the balcony watching, and Brody elected to spend a good deal of the last class up there. We will do it again, but maybe one at a time!

18 Months!

The Parade

 

Brody decided to ride his tractor in the parade this year. He says his gator has engine trouble.

 

Here they come!

 

Brenley threw candy out - most of it hit her brother on the head. Henry was in his first parade at 3 months:).
