Claire's Party

 

Claire had her 6th birthday party at the Holiday Inn on Saturday. Lots of fun! Brody swam with a life jacket by himself for the first time. Looking forward to the pool up north. Brenley has been having some issues this weekend - teeth, we think. Anyway, she didn't get to go in the pool, and she was not happy about it! Happy birthday, Claire!

Brody got this playset from Grandpa and Grandma for his birthday. It will get a lot of use if it ever stays nice enough outside! In the last picture Brody is doing what he considers his job - pushing Brenley down the slide. It takes her a while to get in position and sometimes he can't wait - he just kind of manhandles her over to the top and gives her a push!

Easter Fun

Easter started at home with an egg hunt and presents from the Easter Bunny. After church the kids got more presents from Grandma and Grandpa and Nate, Heidi and Henry. After presents they had another egg hunt at grandma's.

We then headed to Gaylord where the one and only Easter Bunny graced us with his presence! Much to my surprise, the children were not terrified of him!

And of course, this little girl cried when the Easter Bunny left!

As usual, things don't go the best when you are trying to take pictures of your own kids! Dark, dreary days don't help either! We did get a few, and Brody did some 3 year ones which Grandma promises to edit when she has time!! Happy Easter Everyone!

Friends Party

Brody has a fabulous time celebrating his 3rd Birthday with his friends at the Lake Crystal Rec Center. It was so fun to watch him actually play with his friends. Last year at his pool party he played more with mommy and daddy. This year was completely different. He and his daycare buddies were wild as can be! After swimming we enjoyed cupcakes and presents. He got some awesome presents and really enjoyed the day. THANK YOU FRIENDS!

Happy Birthday, Brody!

Brody had a great 3rd Birthday! He woke up to lots of balloons in his room. He had a fun 1/2 day at daycare where he treated his friends to donuts and Dora popsicles. Brody also had his 3 year check up today where he came out with a perfect review! He was 32 lbs (53 percentile) and 37 inches tall (40 percentile). We came home and grilled out for supper followed by a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. Perfect day, for the Birthday Boy! He is very excited to celebrate his birthday both Saturday and Sunday with friends and family.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Brody Richard! We love you so much!
