Friends Party

Brody has a fabulous time celebrating his 3rd Birthday with his friends at the Lake Crystal Rec Center. It was so fun to watch him actually play with his friends. Last year at his pool party he played more with mommy and daddy. This year was completely different. He and his daycare buddies were wild as can be! After swimming we enjoyed cupcakes and presents. He got some awesome presents and really enjoyed the day. THANK YOU FRIENDS!

Happy Birthday, Brody!

Brody had a great 3rd Birthday! He woke up to lots of balloons in his room. He had a fun 1/2 day at daycare where he treated his friends to donuts and Dora popsicles. Brody also had his 3 year check up today where he came out with a perfect review! He was 32 lbs (53 percentile) and 37 inches tall (40 percentile). We came home and grilled out for supper followed by a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. Perfect day, for the Birthday Boy! He is very excited to celebrate his birthday both Saturday and Sunday with friends and family.

Bren at School

Believe it or not, Brenley has been going to ECFE for about the last 8 weeks. I finally got some pictures last night. She wasn't totally into school last night and just wanted to sit on my lap for awhile (we found out today she STILL has a double ear infection). She did find the energy to paint a little and play in the sensory table. Brenley isn't really a fan of snack time because mommy sits at a different table. She usually lasts about 30 seconds before the big lip and tears come out.

And we are so ready for it. Brody got a little confused and kept asking for the dog bone push. Grandma explained that it was called under dog because Mommy was going under him. After that he asked for the under dog bone push:).

Grandma's Day

 

Brenley stayed with Grandma while we went to Madagascar on Saturday. They had fun watching cartoons,

 

playing with Darby,

 

reading books,

 

and going to town. Grandma took her to Walmart and McDonald's where she said, "Hi," and "Love you" to everyone she saw. Good thing only Grandma knew she was saying the "love you" part!

WeEkeNd!

We had a fun filled weekend! Saturday, Ryan and I took Brody to Madagascar Live! at the Orpheum. It was a great show and we all enjoyed it. Brody also got a special lunch at Chuck E Cheese on the way home. Today we celebrated Kaya's 3rd Birthday! It made Brody even more excited for his Birthday, and he even thought he might want purple cupcakes with flowers and butterflies:) We ended the day with a stop at Menards to pick out a swingset from Grandma and Grandpa. Brody was ready to play on it the minute we got home. Little does he know, it could be awhile before we find the time to assemble the darn thing! None-the-less, he will love it when its ready (and his sister will too). No pictures for now, Grandma may have some from her camera but Nate and Heidi are borrowing our camera (grandma's old one) for awhile to capture Henry's first moments. I am quite certain he isn't going to stop being cute anytime soon, so it may be awhile before we get the camera back;)
