Happy Birthday, Everett!

Everett had his Choo-choo birthday party at the hall in Cambria today. Everyone had a great time. Everett loved all of his gifts and was nice enough to let Brody try out his new big wheel. Good food and good company. Happy 2nd birthday, Everett!!

Gymnastics

Brody, Everett, Hudson, and one poor girl had gymnastics class tonight. Brody took his usual five minutes to warm up to the situation, and then loved it all! Running, jumping, doing forward rolls, beam, and bars. Quite a workout for kids and moms!

6 month stats

Brenley had her well-baby check today. She is measuring in at 14 pounds 10 ounces (24th percentile) and 24 3/4 inches (18th percentile). She was a little leary of the doctor and didn't enjoy being looked over. I tried telling her this was the easy part, but she didn't care. Brody was always so good at the doctor and would just sit quiet while being examined. Brenley, you could hear her down the hall! The doctor did say she was perfect despite her screaming! She is a peanut so the doctor says its good to still let her eat in the middle of the night. When it came time for the hard part (shots, 3 of them) Brenley was again screaming bloody murder even before the nurse gave her the first one! She made sure everyone knew she wasn't happy. Ryan thinks Brody is wild and we will have our hands full with him, but I am afraid this little girl will put us through the ringer.

Sunday, at the Park

Had to make a grocery run this morning so we all went and stopped at a couple of parks. Brody loves the play areas, especially the slides. Swinging together seemed like a good idea until they were almost stuck in there - easier getting in than getting out!

Planting Time

Brody and Grandpa planted pumpkin seeds tonight. Hope we have a bumper crop in October.
